A circular route that will lead you to discover Etna’s most authentic side: its western slope, still largely untouched by mass tourism. The hike begins from the picturesque Piano dei Grilli, gateway to the Etna Ovest Nature Reserve, and winds along ancient paths immersed in pine trees, holm oaks, and ancient lava flows.
Riding a mountain bike or e-bike (your choice), you’ll traverse breathtaking landscapes through beech forests and glimpses of the Simeto Valley. The most panoramic point will be Monte Minardo, a volcanic hill offering unparalleled views of Mount Etna and the foothill villages.
Along the way, your guide’s tales will immerse you in the history of this land of lava, toil, and resilience, where nature has always had the final say.
